Nah, it's the bar. And very possibly the bar that is making life and relationship suck. I hope things get better for you.

Although my life and relationships suck at this point, I have hope that it will all turn around in due time. Keep holding on!

I'm not convinced, but will (try to) reserve final judgment. In a pre-law school meeting, the orientation speaker asked, 'who is dating someone - involved, living together?' After a show of hands, he advised them to 'break up now. You will eventually, anyway, and it's better to get the trauma over with before you start rather than the week before finals.'

Then he asked who in the room was married, resulting in many worried, surprised expressions. His advice: 'Stay that way. Regardless. You won't know whether it's school or the marriage causing you grief, and you really don't need the upheaval of a divorce.'

He failed to mention the bar.
